    Hi there,

The page being tested on is here:

I believe the HTML 5 add on has really affected browsers on android phones (gingerbread 2.3.3) as well as firefox for android. I am testing them mainly on a Motorola Droid X (2.3.3) and a Moto Atrix (2.2.2). The sites look fine on an iPod/phone as far as I can test (2nd gen ipod touch).

I have uploaded screen shots to

Also notice the space between the video player and the under it. This does not show on iphones or desktop.

    Hi Jay,

we had a close look at the issues you reported.

We will try to fix the problem with the button which stays visible, this should be solvable, but it seems this problem differs with different versions of androids and browsers used.

The second problem you described when the video doesn’t start to play, this is encoding issue, you will have to try to use maybe different codec – there’s nothing we can do here because as you can see the video started to load, but apparently the player (which is in the device, not dependent on our player) doesn’t play it.

Last issue with the additional space below, this would be very tricky, but we see what we can do here.

Thanks a lot for your detailed notes!

    Hi there,

I was just writing to see if there is any update on this issue? I am using v1.2.10 which is currently listed as the most recent version in the WP plugin search.

Is there potential that downgrading may help or would that make it incompatible with the “WP Mobile Video Player” plugin (v0.1.3.1) to check bandwidths and mobile versions?

    Thanks for your help,

    Jay Murphy

    Hi Jay,

no downgrading wont solve these problems, as they are there from the very beginning. Also downgrading FV WordPress Flowplayer would prevent this extension to work.
We’ll try to address these issues asap.
